Images from the Jamiat Ulema e Islam (JUI-F) Azadi March that arrived in Islamabad today. The protest march against the ruling Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) has been joined by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) as well as the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) (PPP & PML-N respectively), the two leading political parties in Pakistan. Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhuto-Zardari and Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman of the JUI-F made fiery speeches calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Imran Khan and demanding fresh elections alleging the general elections were rigged.
The March has dwindled down in numbers by the time it reached the capital today. A slight shower after sunset further thinned the crowd as people left seeking shelter in the chilling weather.
