An advocate of the Capital on Monday urged the apex regulatory body of lawyers Pakistan Bar Council and Law & Justice Commission of Pakistan to convene International Judicial Conference for deliberations over legal remedies against human rights violations in Indian Held Kashmir in line with global instruments.
Advocate Supreme Court Riaz Hussain Azam, a finance secretary candidate for forthcoming election of the Supreme Court Bar Association suggested that legal fraternity should play its role against atrocities in IHK through invoking relevant jurisdictions for remedies.
“International Judicial Conference should be organised with reference to Kashmir Issues future aspect, legal aspect, UN Resolution & Human Rights violations aspect”, stated Azam.
