TLTP REPORT –
Recently launched political party Jammu Kashmir Democratic Party (JKDP) Chairperson Sardar Nabila Irshad urged the incumbent Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider to devise tangible strategy against disparity and brutality on Kashmiris in Indian Held Kashmir instead of tall claims to march towards Line of Control.
Nabila Irshad said in a statement on Friday that PM Raja Farooq Haider has used his rhetorical skills while giving a long interview to Turkish Wire Anadolu Agency claiming to march towards the LoC and break it like a Brelin Wall.
She expressed, “PM Raja should realize that Berlin Wall came down, after Soviet Union disappeared and it lost war in Afghanistan. In Indian occupied Kashmir, Indian Army is fully laced with weapons. We must be told, in case Indian Army fires on those marching towards the LoC, what should be the strategy? Has PM really taken international community into confidence, before taking such adventure”?
Sardar Nabila was of the view that the government of AJK under the aegis of the PM Raja is not able to provide bunkers to those living along the LoC. She added, “PM rhetoric will serve no purpose, till we don’t put our acts tougher. We must have consensus and speak in one language to highlight Indian oppression and demand right to self-determination. PM’s speech is confusing not only us, but international community as well”.
Nabila Irshad said that PM Raja Farooq Haider should devise a strategy in light of the fact that entire Jammu and Kashmir state was losing its identity, culture, dress, dietary habits and language. She questioned, “What steps the PM has taken to maintain our civilization existence?
Citing PM Raja Farooq Haider interview where PM has claimed to change strategy and keep the real party that is Kashmiris on the front, Sardar Nabila raised a question what stopped PM Raja from devising such strategy.
Sardar Nabila Irshad demanded, “ The PM Raja should convene all-party meeting, both within and outside assembly and clearly stipulate contours of new strategy.
“When PM himself saying that human rights issue in Kashmir has gained huge support from the public in France, Holland, Germany, Spain and many other countries, why civil society in AJK was not being mobilised to keep up the momentum, Sardar Nabila made a point.
She further expressed whether tours of President, PM and few other blue eyed boys travelling to Europe quite often on shopping spree in any way an effective strategy to lobby in the West, adding it needs a concerted plan, where AJK and IoK civil society must be consulted and included.
Sardar Nabila Irshad raise a question while addressing PM Raja Farooq Haider, “Can he just mention, when he and his party has helped to unite diaspora, particularly the IoK diaspora”?
At the same time Sardar Nabila applauded PM’s desire to reach out to Hindus of Jammu and Buddhists in Ladakh to make them understand that Indian actions are detrimental to their interests as well and his suggestion that the AJK and Gilgit Baltistan governments should form a joint front with resistance leaders from across the LoC in Indian occupied Kashmir.
While suggesting PM Raja Farooq Haider that its time to walk the talk, Nabila Irsahd expressed, “But such suggestions required to be implemented in true letter and spirit otherwise this interview to a foreign news agency will be treated as mere rhetoric aimed at to fool and hoodwink people around the world, particularly our brothers and sisters in the IoK. They are awaiting an action, not hollow words”.
