Twittering is an art to disseminate in seconds around the globe whatever one interested to say like leader of the followers of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif ‘Marraym Nawaz’ has got leverage of cyber regime and twitted soon after the Islamabad High Court rejected plea to suspend her father sentence on medical grounds in a graft case on Thursday, “However, it must be remembered that when tyranny crosses all limits, it is uprooted [and] a system based on kufur [infidelity] can survive but not the one based on oppression,”.

No doubt, its matter of a great concern for a daughter that her father has not been granted relief in response to arguments of one of the veteran lawyer of the town Khawaja Haris before a division bench of the IHC comprising Justices Aamir Farooq and Mohsisn Akhtar Kiyani. But at the same time we have to note that services of a lawyer are not accessible for so many remedy seekers due to financial constraints.

Senior advocate of the Supreme Court Khawaja Haris urged the court to grant permanent bail to Sharif by suspending awarded sentence of seven years in the Al-Azizia Steel Mills reference purely on medical grounds saying Sharif was in depression after death of his spouse last year.

Substantiating his arguments Haris was of the view that medical condition of his client is extremely in dangerous due to cardiac and diabetic’s issues which best treatment was only available abroad.

Another vital argument of Haris doesn’t work that superior courts of the country had provided bail facility to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Dr Asim Hussain, former president Pervez Musharraf and others on medical grounds who were given permission to travel abroad to get their medical treatment.

Law of the land didn’t allow the bench to grant a relief at the moment on medical grounds and this is the reality which everyone should accept in society that no one is above the law.

On his turn, deputy prosecutor of the top anti-graft body Jananzeb Bharwana opposed sentence suspension of Nawaz Sharif before the bench saying earlier top court of the country has suspended the conviction Sharif for medical treatment for six weeks but the convicted instead of medical treatment got only tests during the period.

Declining to agree with the arguments of Khawaja Haris in the matter, a member of the bench Justice Aamir Farooq observed there was news in the air that detainees are facing depression during the captivity.

Hey Twitter, you can help me to raise propaganda but it’s the time to realize that hundred of daughters of fathers in the country are at doldrums whose dear ones are behind the bars for nothing – who could not avail a single chance to visit their fathers in jails because they would have to face hurdles in doing so due to traditional system which never been reviewed in the real sense during the era of Lion’s government in the country. So not worried dear daughter – its all about us and we have to go through.
