Press Association Supreme Court (PAS) and Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has decided to sign a MoU in order to provide free legal aid to deserving litigants as the accord would be inked on Friday at the Council’s office.
As many as 46 top court correspondents representing all over the national print and electronic media are members of the PAS whereas a young journalist Mian Aqeel Afzal 0f the Express Media Group had been elected as the PAS president for 2019-20.
Information secretary of the PAS Azim Gill on Thursday expressed that the body will sign MoU for legal support to deserving litigants saying on recommendation of the PAS, apex regulatory body of the legal fraternity, the PBC will provide free legal aid to deserving litigants to seek remedy in propositions form the Supreme Court.
