An untoward incident took place in the office of Advocate Supreme Court and Senator Kamran Murtaza at Islamabad on Friday where unruly attackers barged into his office and looted valuable along with cash on gun point and also injured his Associates.
Kamran Murtaza is a respectable figure, presently a member of the Senate of Pakistan and also a former Vice-Chairman of the Pakistan Bar Council, Ex. President, Supreme Court Bar Association and a senior member of the legal fraternity.
Expressing grave concern over the incident vice chairman of the top regulatory body of legal fraternity Pakistan Bar Council Khush Dil Khan and chairman executive committee Muhammad Faheem Wali have sought immediate inquiry of the gruesome act.
They have demanded immediate inquiry, independent investigation and swift action of the police and other law enforcing agencies in arresting the accused and ensuring exemplary punishment at the earliest.
