Karachi, : Pakistan People’s Party leader Sharjeel Inam Memon on Saturday slammed the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, over what he called a “double standards” for accountability.
“Nawaz Sharif is an angel, thus he can’t be put under exit control list” he said in a satiric way. “There is separate law for me and Nawaz” he added.
He was addressing media persons after appearing before Accountability Court in Karachi.
He stated that a VIP accountability process is underway against Nawaz Sharif and his family where, despite his disqualification, from Courts, he gets an “imperial protocol” and feels no need for bail to be at his home.
He further said that there was a separate law for poor and rich in the country, while when it comes to the Sharif Family, the law becomes lenient. This sort of behaviour raises question on the supremacy of law in the country.
